In 1997, entrepreneur Mikhail Vladimirovich Dvornikov bought two large plants, OAO MSZ and OAO MIF Stankolit. The plants were in bankruptcy and Mikhail Dvornikov bought only the real estate and land on which the plants were located, while all the plant equipment was sold at an auction and the money was used to pay off debts to creditors.

The territory of OAO MSZ was 6 hectares of land. The Savelovsky Trade Complex, which includes Savelovsky Computer Market, Savelovsky Market, and Savyonok na Savelovsky, was located on it. In 2006, Mikhail Dvornikov sold Savelovsky to the structures of Alexander Klyachin.

The territory of MIF Stankolit is 20 hectares of land. It includes Savelovsky City 5 hectares, office and warehouse complexes 5 hectares and Stankolit shopping mall 10 hectares. In 2007 Mikhail Dvornikov sold all these objects.
