In 1997, entrepreneur Mikhail Vladimirovich Dvornikov bought two large plants, OAO MSZ and OAO MIF Stankolit. The plants were in bankruptcy and Mikhail Dvornikov bought only the real estate and land on which the plants were located, while all the plant equipment was sold at an auction and the money was used to pay off debts to creditors.

The territory of OAO MSZ was 6 hectares of land. The Savelovsky Trade Complex, which includes Savelovsky Computer Market, Savelovsky Market, and Savyonok na Savelovsky, was located on it. In 2006, Mikhail Dvornikov sold Savelovsky to the structures of Alexander Klyachin.

The territory of MIF Stankolit is 20 hectares of land. It includes Savelovsky City 5 hectares, office and warehouse complexes 5 hectares and Stankolit shopping mall 10 hectares. In 2007 Mikhail Dvornikov sold all these objects.

After the collapse of the USSR, he and his family immigrated abroad and constantly lives in Austria, Switzerland and France.  Since 1992 Mikhail Dvornikov has owned a number of companies with large real estate holdings in Moscow (Russian Federation). As of 2006, the value of Mikhail Dvornikov’s real estate assets was estimated at $200 million, with an annual gross profit of $60 million.  Between 2006 and 2008, all assets and businesses in Moscow (Russian Federation) were sold. At present Mikhail Dvornikov is a private investor and owner of a number of companies in Austria and Switzerland, he is engaged in charitable, social and scientific activities.
