The Turks and Caicos Islands are an archipelago that lies north of Haiti and the Dominican Republic and southeast of The Bahamas. There are 8 main islands, although only 6 of them are populated. Grand Turk and Cayo Sal, of the Turks Islands. West Caicos, North Caicos, South Caicos, East Caicos, Central Caicos, and Providenciales belong to the Caicos Islands, along with most of the smaller cays. The country’s main economy is tourism, with a small (but growing) financial services sector. The Turks and Caicos villas present an idyllic landscape where crystal-clear waters mingle with fine sandy beaches. The Central and North Caicos Islands have an exceptional environment with lush green forested areas. North Caicos also has the largest network of caves in the Caribbean, as well as lakes and natural ponds, inhabited by pink flamingos.

Snorkeling, kayaking, horseback riding, boat trips, or 4×4 excursions are some of the activities that you can do to discover the wonderful places that these islands hide. As in most Caribbean countries, the raw material they have most at hand is fish and that is why it is one of the most important products along with corn and rice. Seafood lovers will be able to savor lobsters, mollusks, and crabs that abound in the surroundings. As for drinks, many imported wines, and beers. But rum is what appears the most on the islands, generally mixed with tropical juices.

Travel to the white villas and discover the great wealth that the nature of these islands offers. Underwater reserves, natural parks, and infinite beaches are more than enough reasons to visit this paradise.

Providenciales

Providenciales is a small island belonging to the Turks and Caicos archipelago, south of the Bahamas, and just over a 90-minute flight from Miami. This city is the place of residence of the majority of the population and the most developed, where the Providenciales International Airport is located, where all international flights arrive. This area is exactly what you want to visit to enjoy the best summer experience at a private villa resort in Turks and Caicos.

In Providenciales (also called Provo) the easiest way to get around the island is to rent a car or villa at Turk and Caicos Villas. This paradisiacal island offers some of the most spectacular beaches in the world. From the incomparable and internationally recognized Grace Bay Beach to the protected and isolated beaches, of Bay Taylor or Sapodilla Bay. Several of the island’s beaches offer the opportunity to snorkel in incredible reefs where you can see corals, fish, mollusks, and turtles. It is not necessary to go far to see the coral reef, near the beach you can find beautiful diving spots.

Diving, horseback riding, sunbathing… a wide variety of alternatives in which to enjoy your leisure time. The resorts are pretty quiet already, but if you want to get even more away from the crowds, try Malcolm Beach.

After all, just as Providenciales has the most developed urban center of all the islands, Grace Bay is its liveliest area. Here you will find businesses grouped into small American-style shopping malls, restaurants with service and menus for the most demanding, the Casablanca casino, and an 18-hole golf course. But there is much more to discover, beyond Grace Bay. Long Bay, in the south of the island, is the perfect destination where you can find paradisiacal secluded beaches.
