Netflix has released the official Enola Holmes poster starring Millie Bobby Brown. The Stranger Things star plays the titular Enola Holmes, the younger sister of the relatively better known Sherlock (Henry Cavill) and Mycroft (Sam Claflin) Holmes. The next Netflix movie – which the streamer acquired from Legendary Entertainment earlier this year.

In the teaser, we get a glimpse of the different characters we’ll see in Enola Holmes. From Henry Cavill to Helena Bonham Carter, the film boasts of a star-studded cast.

Enola Holmes is based on the books written by Nancy Springer. Millie Bobby Brown will be seen as the ingenious teenage detective who foils her brilliant brother Sherlock Holmes. While Henry Cavill will play Sherlock, British actor Sam Claflin will be seen as their brother, Mycroft. Helena Bonham Carter will play the free-spirited mother of the Holmes siblings.

Enola Holmes Poster Featuring Millie Bobby Brown & Her Family

While we don’t have a full trailer for Enola Holmes just yet. The footage posted to Twitter aims to introduce us to Millie Bobby Brown’s protagonist in a fun and eye-catching way. Based on the character created by Nancy Springer, the film is about Enola, the younger sister of famous detectives Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes.

Henry Cavill’s Curls Are The Real Star In First Footage

It’s not his adventure though, as Enola Holmes clearly nails it by saying that Enola is the person of interest in this particular universe. And she’s just as good at solving mysteries and protecting herself as her brothers. As we see future franchise star Millie Bobby Brown fighting through the back alleys, mistaking things for letter tiles, and even showing off a little bit of disguise acumen. If she was the one who gave him hairstyle tips for her on-screen big brother, these curls are even more proof that Enola Holmes is the hero we need today.

Of course, we had already seen a hint of this new development given Henry Cavill’s Sherlock,. As those first photos released not so long ago showed us some of the products. But see them in action? Quite the opposite of the first time we saw Cavill’s digitally erased mustache from Justice League. Yes, we’re still a little sensitive about this around these parts; Zack Snyder’s Justice League notwithstanding.

More importantly, Enola Holmes’ first sequence shows just how cinematic this film will be. Considering this movie was an acquisition from Warner Bros, made during our ongoing event series,. Netflix subscribers are about to get a pretty lush picture. And, of course, Millie Bobby Brown’s Enola is going to help guide us through her version of the universe inspired by the mysterious world of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, without infringing on copyright.

Netflix has proven their instincts about the Sherlock Holmes canon quite well in recent years, as not only have they repeatedly had the incarnation of Guy Ritchie in their digital library, but they knew well enough to issue an offer to buy Holmes and Watson. Her latest tactic about an old favorite will be on display, along with every inch of Millie Bobby Brown’s intellect and Henry Cavill’s sleek curls, when Enola Holmes hits Netflix (if we’ve cracked that tweet correctly) on September 23.
